We went down to the coast with Meghan and Ted. They will soon be welcoming a bundle of joy into the world. They currently live in Tampa, but are “Tallahassee” natives and love to visit Ted’s family up here. Meghan and Ted are tons of fun, and we are sure a little baby isn’t going to slow them down a beat. We can’t wait to meet Baby Bergquist sometime during football season!

Joe and Brittany have a very cute love, and Joe easily showed it. He admitted he doesn’t normally get emotional, but it was obvious he was thrilled to be marrying Brittany. It was quite a treat to spend the day with this pair. Their wedding was beyond a perfect summer day. Not too hot, not too humid, it was nice & breezy, which didn’t matter much since we spent most of the day inside. The vendors, namely John Gandy’s team, made sure the event went off without a hitch. Everything came together, and it was quite memorable.

The reception was set up to be indoor & outdoor. With bands in both areas, a strolling supper (in & out), tents, beautiful lighting (japanese lanterns & globe lighting inside). There were a lot of Italian traditions that were followed. A cookie/pastry cake, the italian money dance, italian cuisine, and Brittany wore green the entire day preceding the wedding for good luck. They are going to need luck in a household divided, Brittany & family are die hard Florida Gators while Joe attended FSU and loves his football. You can see a bit of their rivalry at their engagement session.

I really hope these two have a great time on their honeymoon in St. Lucia!

Love the colorful shoes!!!

Joe thinking about the day ahead.

I love Brittany’s face here while she was getting her hair done. And make-up by the always wonderful Randi Buchanan.

Look at that smile on Brittany’s face as her dress was being zipped up. The excitement was contagious.

The centerpieces were mostly different, they thought of everything even the mouth wash in the bathroom (kissable breath), coozies, & monogrammed bar napkins

Outdoor they had a patio set up under tents with Japanese lanterns, monogrammed pillows, and what looked like a very yummy Arnold Palmer already made

Katie’s cakes & an Italian Cookie Cake

Stunning

The trolley ride was quite a treat for the bridal party & parents as always!

Rebecca & Mike walked around Southwood with the two of us for their engagement photos a while back. We enjoyed our afternoon tremendously learning about them. Their engagement session was quite interesting! Mike had been planning to propose for a while, and finally he was tired of it getting put off when plans fell through (of course Rebecca had no idea the entire time). So one day he decided that evening would be the day… well Rebecca ended up helping out a friend that evening & babysitting for a friend while the friend was having her second child. After the proposal the friend understood and found another friend to babysit while the couple went to dinner to celebrate.

It was quite a time in the beginning we had some confusion with Rebecca (the one being photographed) and Rebekah (the photographer), we finally figured it all out! But it was comical in the beginning.

Lauren and Jonathan were married in a small ceremony on Panama City Beach in St. Andrews State Park. It was right near the pier, not a cloud in the sky, while at the same time it was breezy. The weather was very much not typical for August. The pair decided last minute to do a first look, and as a result we had some time to go to a nearby marina for photos of the two of them together. There was all kinds of photo-goodness at the marina, love it! The pair had to get up quite early the next morning to drive to their flight to their honeymoon in Jamaica, so I hope they got to sleep earlier than the previous night.

This was the tender moment right before they SMASHED each other in the face with cake, it wasn’t a pretty sight!

They eloped/had a very small ceremony! Either way it was a wonderful day, filled with sunlight & a lot of wind. I was so happy to be apart of their day. They celebrated at a beach house on Windmark Beach in Port St. Joe along with about 20 of their family and friends. It was beyond perfect for the pair. This wonderful day was put together by Clay Keels of Steven Clay Wedding and Event Designs in Port St. Joe, FL.
