Heidi’s Rock the Dress session was pure girly & photography fun! Heidi brought along her niece, who attends FSU, on our little expedition to one of our favorite photography spots in Tallahassee. It was so much fun recounting her wedding day and having the freedom to do almost whatever we wanted with her because the dress had already had it’s debut. This wasn’t a full on dress trashing, but there was no need to worry about a little dirt from her surroundings.
There *might* be an after session in the future with this couple & if it works out that the newlyweds are able to make it down here we will be more than ecstatic. Actually I won’t complain if someone gives us a reason to go to Athens, GA in order to do the session in Heidi’s neck of the world! We will see what the future brings. Either way this isn’t the last of the always beautiful Heidi.
We truly love what we do & our clients make it easy, to enjoy this path every day. Our style of photography is a blend of photojournalism and portrait photography... what we like to call portraitjournalism. We believe portraitjournalism mixes artistic posed portraits with fun and natural shots. As a situation unfolds naturally, we are often able to catch that part of you that makes you, well you. But, we also believe some posed portraits are necessary, as they document you, your family, and your friends at this specific time in your life. This blend of photography allows us to capture the memories in an artistic and creative way; one that portrays YOUR story through images.

We started our photography session in Edens State Park where they were married. This place just screams, “Wedding Photography”!
These two have kept every love note they have EVER written to each other! That is so awesome, we tried peeking to get their secrets. The coolest part is that most of them were written on post it notes, or the inside of a cereal box, or a piece of paper that was supposed to end up in trash, but they wrote a love note on it instead.
The gates at old entrance to Edens State Park are beautiful.

Jenny had found this little red barn the day before while exploring for fun places to photograph. The gentleman that owned the barn happened to be out on his property when she drove by and she asked for permission to photograph it and he was perfectly fine with it. What a nice man!
There were so many cool images to choose from to post to represent the pictures in front of the red barn. Just so hard to narrow them down.
One of my favorite images from the day. Jenny is herself in this image.

Lee is a Harley Man, so we had to include his bike in the shoot.
