Heidi’s Rock the Dress session was pure girly & photography fun! Heidi brought along her niece, who attends FSU, on our little expedition to one of our favorite photography spots in Tallahassee. It was so much fun recounting her wedding day and having the freedom to do almost whatever we wanted with her because the dress had already had it’s debut. This wasn’t a full on dress trashing, but there was no need to worry about a little dirt from her surroundings.

There *might* be an after session in the future with this couple & if it works out that the newlyweds are able to make it down here we will be more than ecstatic. Actually I won’t complain if someone gives us a reason to go to Athens, GA in order to do the session in Heidi’s neck of the world! We will see what the future brings. Either way this isn’t the last of the always beautiful Heidi.

Lindsey was married today!  So I am posting her bridal portraits.  I have been patiently waiting to show these, because Lindsey is stunning. The four of us (Lindsey’s mom accompanied us) drove to Seaside, FL.  We kept finding some really cute spots around the little town sandwiched between Watercolor and Seagrove, FL. If you have never been you should really visit, actually on second thought don’t visit, I enjoy having Seaside all to myself!

The wedding photos will be coming shortly!!!

It has been torture not being able to share these until after Shannon and John’s wedding day. I have been keeping these a secret for over a month! Secrets are difficult. Finally the day has come and past one hour ago and I am allowed to share. YAY! Shannon made a beautiful bride, and we had the whole family (sister & mom) plus Shannon’s best friend helping to move the dress around the house/yard without getting it dirty. It was quite an event and Shannon was a trooper, because for Tallahassee it has been a cold winter, keep in mind relatively for Floridians 40 degrees is cold. Thank you Shannon for allowing me into your life to capture such beautiful memories, and your very special day.

We are a 2010 Wedding Wire bride’s choice winner! That’s right, our brides spoke, they love us, and it has been proven. As a result Wedding Wire gave us their highest honor as a winner, and I like winning!

So I quickly wanted to put up this blog entry telling the world how much we love our couples for choosing us to photograph such a wonderful and beautiful day in their lives, as well as completely trusting us. YAY!

Jenny & Lee opted to have a Mr. & Mrs. session also known as an After Wedding session. Look at their wedding images, I just love the big tree they were married under! The awesome thing about these sessions is there isn’t any pressure to get back to the reception after the ceremony (or before if you pick to do a first look before the ceremony). We spent over two beautiful hours with these two newlyweds taking fun photos. Jenny had scouted out the area before so we had some fun & some colorful locations to use. This was by far a REALLY great session. During their wedding Jenny didn’t want to take off her jacket because she has tattoos, towards the end of this session she was so comfortable with us we were able to convince her to shed the sleeves and show her real sleeves. Fun sessions like these make me so happy to be a wedding photographer.

The beautiful Mrs. Goostree!

wjennyafter(47)We started our photography session in Edens State Park where they were married. This place just screams, “Wedding Photography”!
wjennyafter(71)These two have kept every love note they have EVER written to each other! That is so awesome, we tried peeking to get their secrets. The coolest part is that most of them were written on post it notes, or the inside of a cereal box, or a piece of paper that was supposed to end up in trash, but they wrote a love note on it instead.
wjennyafter(96)The gates at old entrance to Edens State Park are beautiful.

wjennyafter(208)Jenny had found this little red barn the day before while exploring for fun places to photograph. The gentleman that owned the barn happened to be out on his property when she drove by and she asked for permission to photograph it and he was perfectly fine with it. What a nice man!
wjennyafter(241)There were so many cool images to choose from to post to represent the pictures in front of the red barn.  Just so hard to narrow them down.
