Jenny and Lee found us through our website, but were pleasantly surprised when they realized that there was a connecting link between us: Stephanie, Jenny’s maid of honor and best friend, is also Sarah Davis’ sister and was her maid of honor. As you might recall, we had the wonderful honor of shooting Sarah’s wedding back in July. What a small world! More to follow on the final blog entry, but for now, here is a teaser.

Remember Stephanie from Sarah’s wedding? She is the one to the left, & her husband is on the right side.bJenny_Lee_SP-2

John used to play football for Florida State, so we headed out to FSU’s campus to shoot their engagement pictures. Let me just say that couples who bring fun props hold a special place in my heart, and couples that wear cool colors are awesome! These two had both: sunglasses, a football, and Cassie’s bright pink dress made this shoot so much fun. We started out at Ruby Diamond and then headed to the football field. Unfortunately, if you live in Florida you understand how flaky the weather can be. The day of John and Cassie’s engagement session proved that point. It was sprinkling, but Cassie was willing to let her hair frizz a bit to have some fun. Just as we thought the planets were aligning to give us that golden hour, the sky opened up and decided that would not be the case. Although, rain can ruin some things, it definitely did not ruin John and Cassie’s engagement session. Thanks guys for being such great sports!

we found some nice puddles to play in!

One word describes Crystal and Jeremy’s wedding: FUN! I don’t know if the easy atmosphere on St. George Island had something to do with it, but the entire day was pretty laid back. There was flip cup (Crystal and Jeremy belong to a tailgate group that takes their football and flip cup very seriously), beer pong, and lots of fun in the late morning at a bar on St. George Island – and all of this before we even started photographing! Friends, old and new, came together to celebrate this event and got along very well. I found myself sometimes singing along to the music and doin’ a little dance during the reception until I snapped myself back to reality. It was just so easy to get lost in all that fun!

The honeymoon was in Jamaica at a Sandals resort, and I can only imagine that where Crystal and Jeremy went the fun followed. Thank you for allowing us to capture the beautiful moments of your day. We can’t wait to do a rock the dress session on your parent’s dock! Below are a couple of photos from the day, follow up on the blog & facebook for the final post.
