We believe portraitjournalism mixes artistic posed portraits with fun and natural shots. As a situation unfolds naturally, we are often able to catch that part of you that makes you, well you. But, we also believe some posed portraits are necessary, as they document you, your family, and your friends at this specific time in your life. Baylen, Parsons, and Emory all joined me up at the Southwood house on a Sunday afternoon. Emory got a new dress just for the occasion! Emory isn’t shy (I know, being she lives next door) but as soon as that camera came out shy she became! So we just let her be herself and so her personality shined through. She ran around, got tickled, played Duck Duck Goose (I love that game!) and she even put on a performance for us!
