Live on coffee until wine. When not behind a camera you can usually find me with my two minis, Paige loves “arts & crafts”, while Colin is in the obsessed with dinosaur stage. If I’m not with the kids I definitely enjoy just relaxing, playing “fixer upper” with our house, telling friends how to decorate their houses, or my favorite thing, eating. I love exploring new restaurants with my husband or a group of friends. I come from an over sized family of loud people, which pretty much means I’m comfortable in large groups of people. Usually an extrovert, but sometimes I sit back and just take it all in.
I was born and raised in the lovely country of Panama with my identical twin sister, and four other siblings. My love of photography started in high school when my dad armed me with a Canon film SLR (kind of cheesy for a wedding photographer to have started with a good old film camera, right?!). At the time, I enjoyed taking silly photos of my friends, and looking back they were most likely annoyed that I ALWAYS had a camera in my face. My dad would develop the film as quickly as I could take the images. I hate to admit it, but I broke a few lenses back then. I still feel horrible about that!!

MY PHOTOGRAPHY STYLE
My inspirations come from many different places and I try to implement those inspirations into your images. I love the raw emotion of photojournalism, but also feel that some portraits are important to document your story. This is a blend of photography called portrait- journalism. During your portraits I strive to find romantic lighting, incredible backgrounds, and choose locations very carefully; never posing situations that are already magical on their own. I am an observer most of the time with very limited intrusion, and only when it is desired to achieve a particular artistic vision. My love of people watching serves me well in this profession! I am truly honored to be considered for the important task of photographing your wedding day. It is such an indescribable feeling to watch two excited people join together. Passion and emotions drive me everyday to find the perfect moment between an engaged couple or a stolen kiss between the newly married. With hundreds of wedding days under my belt I have learned each and every wedding is very unique.
